Update2: Turns out both were unintentional, and now everyone’s happy. Imagine that.
So, about a minute ago I logged into my WordPress admin panel, and the dashboard is loading up… One of the last things to load is the Technorati Incoming Links. Earlier today, this guy showed up and was using my free BBT theme without linking… I’m not too offended by that, but I did post a comment (no contact info, I’ll try a whois later). What really killed me was this guy. Look familiar? Yes, that is my original design that you’re reading from now. Now I can’t understand why he would do it so stupidly… So that I get the incoming link, otherwise I never would’ve known.
I really don’t want to send a cease and desist letter to anyone, but Nathan, if you’re reading this, take it down. Now, I’ll be going out tonight (go Bears) and when I’m back I’m going to post your address, phone number and a Google Map of where you live. Don’t believe me? Well, I can see you live across the street from a parking lot.
I’m a generally peaceful person, but I’m going to quote Steve Smith here. “Don’t steal my stuff. It’s bad karma”. And he’s right. I’ve had an average of about 450 uniques/day this week, and I have a lot of good things in store. Basically, out of the thousands of visits that I’ll get this month, at least one of them are bound to live in the Pittsburgh area, or at least want to phone you.
I’ve definitely learned a lesson though… Licensing is everything!

Conner - I have had no intentions on ’stealing’ your design. I am in the process of trying out this wordpress and trying to create my own theme. Your theme is really nice btw. I could explain what I am trying to do if you wish to contact me. Again, I apologize for this misunderstanding.

You led me to believe your intentions were bad when the first thing you did was take out the copyright.

Could you try that email? Not sure why the gmail wouldn’t be working. No intentions ever existed of using your design. Like I said I just found one and tried creating things from total modification and learning how the wordpress themes work. I’m pretty sure you probably wont but could you delete my name and what not from your post?
