Spam! Among other things…
I got over 50 spam comments yesterday. My Akismet is up to 105 now, and the I’m finally getting spam effect has worn off. Sure, it means your site maybe be worth spamming but now I’m not going to be able to weed through the spams to find the real comments. Basically, if you leave 2 links or more in a comment: SPAM! You might be a real person, so to speak, but Akisment and WordPress don’t care.
Among other things, I have a giant CSS shorthand guide in the works. It’s not your typical guide either… it’s huge. I’d touch on what’s in it, but then someone one else could write it! There should even be some new stuff in there for everyone, CSS guru to Imageready slicers alike!
As for my redesign that is supposed to happening here, it won’t be coming any time soon, as far as I can tell, unfortunately. It’s a priority thing… I have to put clients ahead of that, and then I have to put future clients ahead of that. It will get done, but it’ll be late next month at the earliest

I haven’t even advertised my website yet after creating a new wp db and and getting a new domain, yet I have been receiving a steady ~20 spam comments a day.
