Friday Roundup: June 1st, 2007

Today I’m going to be introducing a new series of posts going out every week, called the Friday Roundup. Similar to many other sites, I’ll be highlighting some great posts going around in the blogosphere, mostly design, development and tech related, but of course not limited to that. You’ll be able to find the archives of all these posts in the Friday Roundup category.
- What would you do for money? A very interesting post with stats taken from Money Magazine. It outlines what some people would do for money, including sleeping with their boss and disclosing your income to coworkers.
- Are you a Genius? This coin trick found by Adnan at Blogtrepreneur really threw my head for a loop. You must check this out, but beware: it’s addictive!
- Bean is a great new, lightweight word processor for OS X. Open source too!
- FireFox has 25% of the unofficial market share, according to W3stats. What scares me is from May 20th to 30th, the IE6 piece actually goes up! Ahh!
- Spammer arrested, but your inbox and comments will never be safe. I’m up to 1600 Akismet caught comments
- 101 Essential Blogging Resources (up to 118) at Blogtrepreneur hit the Digg homepage!
And in my own personal writings, my favourite article of the week here was when I was first Powered by Apple. It isn’t a highlight in terms of writing, more of a milestone for me personally, and professionally.
This would conclude the first “Friday Roundup” but in this I want to spread any little traffic I do get, help out some people in terms of Technorati, etc… If you have anything interesting, email me from the contact page!
Small Update: I made a little image for it in Illustrator. I would’ve made something a little more… better if I had Photoshop working. The steps I went through to get that to an image was… Lets not talk about it
