Welcome to the Friday Roundup for June 8th, 2007. This is part #2 of a seemingly endless series of posts detailing my favourite findings across the web. The stories below may come from topics such as design, development and technology but it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to delve into the depths of randomness for a moment. You can find this and all past roundups in the Friday Roundup category.
- WikiPedia’s Huge Nerd Bias also reported by TechCrunch. Who did you think was editing!?
- My Soul, and 10 Other things Google Owns, a great article on Mashable regarding the bind that Google has on our lives.
- The ULTIMATE Myspace Layout, in the 9rules notes. Definitely an improvement on the original
- London’s 2012 Olympic Logo released, and it sucks. Oh well, why not try to rearrange it?
- CatCam! I’ve always woundered what my cat gets up to outside, and this guy found out! Mirrors by Digg user jakeblat:
- Ducks win the cup. Called it! I said Ducks in four games, but I’m good with five
- Dream Theater’s new CD, Systematic Chaos is released! Only after a couple days, I must say its great. Never a band to disappoint. August 18th at the Molson Amphitheater! Average song length on this new release coming in just under 10 minutes. Awesome.
In my own personal writing ventures, the recent post, “How to Improve Alexa Rankings by Targeting Geographically” is full of some ideas I got after looking at my Alexa ranking by country. If anyone tries this, be sure to let me know how it worked for you!
That’s it for Friday Roundup #2 and in doing these link roundups I hope to spread any traffic I get, give some linklove and do some raising of Technorati ranks for the sites involved. This was a pretty good week for happenings on the web and off! Until next Friday, “I bid you good eating”. (A cookie for whoever gets that)

Haha, that CatCam stuff is great, although the first page didn’t seem to display correctly for me I get the impression that was just the ‘Creating the cam’ slide?
Great pics haha, looks like cats have fun ;]

That’s not a major release, and you said it yourself, it’s totally insignificant. You have Coda already, too. Why do I need to link you to it? :\
