Where on the Web Will Your Post Work Best?
You’ve written a great article. Maybe even some link bait that is sure to get some attention. However, where this article goes live is going to control it’s readership so to speak, and either limit it or set it free.
Even in the same niche, things like the amount of readers, traffic and even the design will have an affect on the article. If you want something to have the most exposure possible, it would ideally be on a well designed, well read site. Now, unfortunately having access or writing for said great site is something few people are privileged to have.
Social bookmarking sites can help the situation a bit, if can’t reach that audience on your own by sending thousands of visitors your way. The thing with SB traffic is that only a small percentage will actually read your article, and then it’s gone.
There are a couple ways you can reach out to the big sites to get that article read and your voice heard:
- Wait for an opening, maybe they’ll be looking for writers.
- Email them asking to do a guest post.
- Alternatively, email them the article and ask if they’ll post it.
One thing before sending , even more than usual, is to proofread and spell check it over and over. You want your best work to make that impression.
Whether you’re interested in getting your voice heard on a broader scale in a similar niche to yours or not, it’s always something that can help expand your readership and help your blog grow.
