BinaryMoon Contest
Ben Gillbanks of BinaryMoon is holding a contest. The winner will get a permanent link in his new blogroll/link list and a review of their site. To enter, you write a short article (100-200 words) and link it to his site.
First off, pure genius. All the PR2 kids are going crazy at the chance for a PR7 backlink. And Ben knows this, I’m sure. After all, he’s not just getting all these reviews, but the link backs and Technorati bonus will be huge. This article will be my entry, and I’ll explain why I’m entering, and why the prize is worth much more than the value of $350 as priced out.
Why I’m Entering
Free PR7 backlink? Well, not free. I’m dedicating a whole post to it, which has to be worth something. He said short, but I don’t really do short posts unless it’s something funny or of huge importance. I had seen Ben’s site many times before, as he is a member of 9rules, a site I frequent. I’ve always been impressed with the design and attention to detail, and he’s written some great posts.
A few weeks ago I came across a post on YGG about a new flash game on Miniclip. I was a fun game, and I believe I even posted about it. Turns out Ben (who works at Miniclip) developed it! My amazement is only multiplied by the fact that my Flash skills are limited to a tween on a path
Talking about PageRank…
Yes, BinaryMoon is PR7. That will carry this competition to greatness, but would you rather have one PR7 link or a whack of PR6? How about both? One thing people don’t think about is the pages of the site, many of which are PR6 (I found 5, and those are just the basic pages). His TLA price a month is $150, but the link there could be essentially priceless, depending on your site.
I look forward to the end of the competition, not only to see if I win one of the 3+ spots available, but I really want to see the redesign! I always love to see a site’s redesign, especially when the predecessor was so good.
Speaking of contests, the one I was planning to hold is delayed until further notice. Don’t worry, the wait just adds to the prize

Hi Conner
Thanks for the kind words. Glad you’re enjoying the site (and Up Beat
)
Sorry to disappoint you but the new design won’t be ready for when the competition ends, but hopefully it won’t be too long after - and the review will be written within a few days of the winners being announced

When does the competition end, anyways? I don’t think you said in your post.
