Which NFL Quarterback Best Describes Your Blog?

Just another comparison article? I think not. Who doesn’t love them some football?
It’s been a good year for me, with the Vikings on a tear and winning the regular season of the 9rules Fantasy Football League. For those that happen to not know, the quarterback is the guy that throws the ball in American football. Each one has their own characteristics and specialties. Which one describes your blog?
The Tom Brady
You’re so awesome. You’ve been awesome for a while, too. It seems as if right now you’re the best, and no one can beat you. You don’t feel that way though. You know that you’ve been under achieving lately. You’re surrounded by awesome people that help you be the best you can be, but you can’t picture yourself being this way forever.
Upside: You’re Tom Brady! That must be so awesome right now!
Downside: There’s nowhere to go but down. It doesn’t help that a lot of people hate you.
The Tony Romo
You’re the ultimate redemption man. You went from unknown to zero and back to hero. Dropping that snap last year is totally out of the minds of your peers. Now you’re in charge, and filthy rich. Good job. You could even be the next franchise man for Dallas.
Upside: You can text Carrie Underwood whenever you want.
Downside: Carrie Underwood can text you whenever she wants.
The Peyton Manning
You’re kind of awesome. You were awesome a while ago, but living in someone else’s shadow. You’re the champion, so why should you be seen as number 2 (or 3 or 4)? You’re always out to prove yourself and make people eat their criticism.
Upside: You can go under the radar but still get enough attention to make you happy. And you make lots of commercials.
Downside: After this year, you’ll never be as good as Tom Brady.
The Drew Brees
You’re the saviour of a city and a franchise. You built something out of nothing when no one else thought it was possible. After being so great, there was only the sky as your limit. Projected to be #1, you can’t come through for your team in the new day. You still show flashes of greatness, but the let down factor is too high to ignore.
Upside: You can always look back and remember how good you were.
Downside: There will always be tons of pressure on you. And you gave St. Louis their first win of the season. C’mon, Drew!
The JaMarcus Russell
You’re the ultimate up and comer. You were drafted first overall. You should be amazing. Unfortunately, we might not know for a really long time. There has been high hopes for you for years, but you’ve never actually done anything. There’s still hope for you in the future, so hopefully everyone doesn’t forget.
Upside: If you can manage one good play, you’ll be the new face of your team.
Downside: You’re on the Raiders. Haha. You also take a back seat to guys who are old, washed up and injured.
The Tavaris Jackson
You have an easy job. You hand the ball the Adrian Peterson. Your job is almost as easy as being the backup for Peyton Manning. When needed you can make plays, but between those you enjoy the ride. Plus, the purple and yellow looks so cool.
Upside: You show up and your job is pretty much done.
Downside: Your throwing arm might fall asleep during a game, making it hard to make the occasional pass.
The Eli Manning
A lot is expected of you. Your brother is pretty good and so was your dad, so you should be too. Unfortunately it’s not like that. You kinda suck. Somehow your team got pretty good, but with your leadership they won’t get much further. Please don’t hog the wildcard spots.
Upside: Your last name is Manning. People may want your autograph for that. “Err, no first name, please”
Downside: The New York media hates you more than they should, and it’s your own fault.
So which QB is your blog? It’s obvious to find some of the big names in there. John Chow would be Tony Romo for rise to blogging riches from nothing and consistent increase in popularity. Problogger would be the Tom Brady of blogging , and Copyblogger is like the Peyton Manning.

I’m pretty sure mine are more like Brett Favre early in his career
I show up and try all sorts of random things that I have no idea if my readers will enjoy. Half of them surprise even myself while the other half end up in a flaming blaze of failure.
Upside: I’m Brett freaking Favre!
Downside: How can there be a downside to being Favre?
Haha, to sum up, GO PACK GO!

Mine would be like the Joey Harrington - Completely over-hyped, and in the end underperforms.

I think this would be quite interesting if we could do the same for the other sports available on the planet.

Philip Rivers. On a team with LT, so it opens up play making opportunities, and as long as I can hand him the ball, my developing skills are not to much of an overall team liability.

Poor Tony Romo. I’d give him the week off to recover mentally and physically (bruised thumb).

I dont feel to bad for him. He’s the QB or Americas team, signed a 66 million dollar contract, he’s single and is dating a HOT Blondie.
